The best moments in life can be testing, very testing... on your wallet that is! :-P
But what makes it worth every penny is the company you are with. Like the time we went to Chilli's, or Tony Roma's, or even last night to this desert shop known as Secret Recipe. We laugh, joke around, eat more, laugh, joke around, eat some more, till we are so full that we can not really get up and leave immediately until we manage to suck our stomachs in for the sake of risking embarrassment. Yes, i admit, i do it too! But can you blame me? How would you react if you were to see someone leave a restaurant looking like they ate a whole cow! Immediately you find yourself trapped with words like pig, hog, "omg!" and the occasional "wtf!" surrounding you in your mind. But in truth, we do not suck our stomachs because of strangers, but to save ourselves from our loved ones or friends, as they are the ones who's opinions always seem to matter the most!
When ever we go out, for some reason we always end up being the loudest bunch of people present. i know I'm being held responsible while u read this, but believe me that's not always the case! Just cause someone is not quite loud or outspoken at times does not mean that they are not the ones telling the funniest jokes or the one with all the funniest antics. But hey as long as we all had fun, a hearty laugh and a full stomach, who really gives a crap right?
The worst bit though, is when u get those occasional waiters who, after having served your 6 pieces of cake, come up to you and ask you if you were going to order more, with an attitude that states either order more or leave. Of course you do not tell them, "you nit-wit, we just ate 6 pieces of cake, are too full and taking a break!" Okay maybe you would, but with me, i try to be nice and say "not yet, thank you, we'll let you know when we are ready to order anything else." only to be confronted with a look and tone that really ticks you off for having been nice in the first place! But oh well, that's life, deal with it and move on! =P

Uni life...
University life is supposed to mean a lot of hard-work and supposedly a lot more "play-time". Well being in KL the play time aspect seems to be quite true, though diminishing as we progress in our degree... *sigh*. But by far the worst aspect of going to classes is not really waking up at 7am at times, in fact it is when u have those few lecturers who are not interested in helping you out. Could it be that they do not know what they are talking about? Or that they know it all but are just not bothered? Either way it is the students who really take a hit! Aren't lecturers meant to at least guide students to ensure that they are on the right path? Just by expecting us to look through books or research into new fields on our own does not ensure that we are looking at the suitable documents. Seriously when did university life come to this? Yes fine we are all told it is a lot of self study, but self-study without guidance... exactly WHAT are we, rather our parents (in most cases), throwing so much money for in the uni's bank accounts?
Yes you could argue that it is up to the students to approach the lecturers and find out whether they were on the right track; BEEN THERE, DONE THAT... the response we get is a blank stare and "oh keep on researching, you will know for sure!"

People come and go in life, then occasionally u have those who stick by you... from staying in touch on a daily basis to once a month maybe, but everytime u meet or talk, u feel like nothing ever really changed. Then u have those who say hi, disappear, show up again and abuse u for not having stayed in touch! You send a couple of messages, don't get a reply and are held responsible for NOT having continued to stay in touch! But i guess it makes sense somehow; we've all been there at some point in time! =P if u say haven't... seriously, who do u think ure kidding!
